Baseball Game Preview: Fort Vancouver Trappers vs. Seton Catholic Cougars

For the second straight game, Fort Vancouver will face off against Seton Catholic. The Trappers will venture away from home to face off against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Vancouver has given up an average of 14.4 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The victory (which was Seton Catholic's 12th in a row) raised their record to 13-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.1 runs over those games. As for Fort Vancouver, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Thursday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Fort Vancouver has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .544.
