Basketball Recap: Washington Has No Trouble Against Magee

Washington had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 20-point drubbing they dealt Magee on Saturday. The Washington Generals blew past the Magee Trojans 36-16.

Washington now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Magee, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-1.

Washington will head out on the road to square off against Starkville Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Starkville Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Washington surely won't give up without a fight. Magee and Mendenhall will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
