The Daniel Academy extended their road winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Noah Maldonado. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against Frontier School of Excellence on Tuesday, sneaking past 61-59 with plenty of help from Maldonado, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.5 boards per game.

Riley Rose was another key player, putting up 14 points. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.

The Daniel Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Frontier School of Excellence, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

The Daniel Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-18 win against Frontier STEM on the 11th. As for Frontier School of Excellence, they have also already played their next matchup, a 74-36 defeat against Academie Lafayette on the 11th.
