Volleyball Recap: Wrightstown Comes Up Short

Wrightstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waupaca Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Wrightstown's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Waupaca, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

While Wrightstown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
