Basketball Recap: Northern Garrett Huskies vs. Mountain Ridge Miners

Northern Garrett lost against Mountain Ridge last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Northern Garrett Huskies lost to the Mountain Ridge Miners on the road by a 77-58 margin. The Huskies were down 65-39 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Leading Mountain Ridge to victory were Ian Duncan and Cameron Breighner. Duncan almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards, while Breighner went 8 of 10 en route to 21 points. Duncan is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Lauder, who posted nine points.

Northern Garrett has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
