Nipmuc Regional barely beat Whitinsville Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crusaders on Friday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-16.

Kayleigh Fountain paced Nipmuc Regional's offense, picking up ten kills. Fountain got some help from Gabrielle Leet and her 17 assists. Fountain also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mackenzie Kirkpatrick, each putting up four.

Nipmuc Regional's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Whitinsville Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Nipmuc Regional is taking a road trip to take on Douglas at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Whitinsville Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Burncoat at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
