Baseball Game Preview: Crescent Valley Raiders vs. North Eugene Highlanders

The Crescent Valley Raiders will head out on the road to take on the North Eugene Highlanders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crescent Valley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Crescent Valley had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Southridge on Thursday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Skyhawks with a sharp 9-2 victory. While the Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, neither North Eugene nor Ridgeview could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw.

Crescent Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-1. North Eugene's draw gives them a new season record of 2-2-1.

Crescent Valley came up short against North Eugene when the teams last played back in April of 2025, falling 6-1. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
