Volleyball Recap: Garner Beats Felton Grove for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

Garner had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Felton Grove Galaxy with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Garner walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 25-19.

Garner can attribute much of their success to Haley Heath, who had five digs and three aces. That's the most digs Heath has posted over her last seven matchups. Elli Pittman also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Garner was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive contests.

Garner's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Felton Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garner will welcome Smithfield-Selma at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Felton Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Garner at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Galaxy are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
