Football Recap: Kearny Comes Up Short

Kearny kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 26-14 to the Southwest EC Eagles. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Kearny will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Madison at 5:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Southwest EC, they have already played their next game, a 19-2 victory against Holtville on the 12th.
