Football Recap: Goldthwaite Piles Up the Points Against Frost

Goldthwaite never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Frost Polar Bears, posting a 42-0 win. Considering the Eagles have won three games by more than 41 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Goldthwaite and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for Frost, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Goldthwaite is set to take on their familiar foe Bremond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 14.7, the Tigers 12.7) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Frost will challenge rival Chilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
