Mesquite proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Arcadia Titans 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Mesquite took Arcadia into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 12-25, 25-27, 25-22, 15-11.

Olivia Isaula was the offensive standout of the match as she had 16 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Mesquite was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.

Mesquite's record is now 22-5. As for Arcadia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-9.

Mesquite has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Cactus Shadows on the 13th. Arcadia has also already played their next match (against St. Mary's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
