Football Recap: California Grizzlies vs. Dougherty Valley Wildcats
California was the 29-6 winner over Dougherty Valley when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Grizzlies took a 13-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Grizzlies came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Wildcats are ranked 327th).
Caeli AuYeung threw for 150 yards and one touchdown. Carissa Rogers was her top target, picking up 45 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Danica Boisseree rushed for 108 yards on only 13 carries.
