Football Recap: Iowa Park Comes Up Short

Iowa Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 43-7 defeat at the hands of the Paradise Panthers. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 3-3. As for Paradise, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Iowa Park is set to challenge their familiar foe Ponder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Paradise will take on rival Peaster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Panthers 14.1, the Greyhounds 8) so any points scored will be well earned.
