Basketball Game Preview: Byron Center Bulldogs vs. Reeths-Puffer Rockets

The Byron Center Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Reeths-Puffer Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Byron Center is looking for their season's first win.

Last Friday, Byron Center was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 32-28 to Muskegon. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 398th, while the Big Reds are ranked 154th).

Meanwhile, Reeths-Puffer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 40-28 to Mona Shores.

Byron Center's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Reeths-Puffer, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Byron Center couldn't quite finish off Reeths-Puffer in their previous matchup back in January and fell 37-35. Can Byron Center avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
