Baseball Recap: Deming Takes a Loss

Deming and Bloomfield squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Deming had to settle for second. They lost 12-1 to the Bobcats. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 8-5.

Deming saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Allison, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Deming's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Bloomfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Deming does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bloomfield, they will take on Albuquerque Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight.
