Volleyball Game Preview: Western Alamance Warriors vs. Page Pirates

The Western Alamance Warriors will take on the Page Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Tuesday, Western Alamance got the win against Williams by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

One reason for the win was Western Alamance's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-15.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Page, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Ben L. Smith with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Page was: they took every set by at least 20 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-1, 25-3, 25-5.

Page's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Western Alamance, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

Western Alamance took their victory against Page in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
