Basketball Recap: Luray Comes Up Short

Luray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 45-19 to the Central Woodstock Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-22 last Tuesday.

Luray's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Central Woodstock, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luray will square off against Rappahannock County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Central Woodstock, they will head out to challenge Stonewall Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Central Woodstock is facing Stonewall Jackson at the right time seeing as Stonewall Jackson is stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
