Volleyball Recap: Pecatonica Find Success + How To Watch

Pecatonica won the last time they faced Pearl City and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolves, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Pecatonica got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-27, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Lexi Diedrich, who had six digs, five kills, and one block. Those six digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sam Cobb, who had 13 digs and three assists.

Despite the defeat, Pearl City saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sandy Martens had 13 digs and one assist. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for Martens.

Pecatonica's record now sits at 9-7. As for Pearl City, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12-2.
