Volleyball Recap: Carl Junction Comes Up Short

Carl Junction was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Camdenton Lakers.

Maddy Huffman paced Carl Junction's offense, picking up 14 kills. Huffman got some help from Jadyn Howard and her 23 assists.

Carl Junction's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Camdenton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Carl Junction wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Clinton on the 6th. As for Camdenton, they will face off against West Plains at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
