There's no place like home for Alonso, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Hillsborough Terriers on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Ravens have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Terriers, too.

One reason for the win was Alonso's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-9.

Joscelyn Hutchinson was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 29 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Machado, who had three aces and two blocks.

They weren't the only good server: Alonso was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 16 consecutive games dating back to last season.

The victory got Alonso back to even at 1-1. As for Hillsborough, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Alonso didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Tampa Bay Tech on the 2nd. As for Hillsborough, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Plant City on the 2nd.
