The matchup between Mitchell and Elizabeth on Wednesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Marauders put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 7-1 victory. Jose Canales Portillo was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Mitchell and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those two matches. As for Elizabeth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
