Softball Recap: Fulton Comes Up Short

Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 22-12 to the Lake Fenton Blue Devils. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly ten runs.

Fulton's loss dropped their record down to 10-21. As for Lake Fenton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fulton will square off against Pewamo-Westphalia at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Fenton, they will head out to take on South Lyon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
