Mariner is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Cascade on Friday. That's two games straight that Mariner have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Lake Stevens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Glacier Peak. That's two games in a row now that Lake Stevens have lost by just one goal.

The win made it two in a row for Mariner and bumps their season record up to 4-7-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two contests. As for Lake Stevens, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.
