Volleyball Recap: Marisia Hansen Key Part of Team Effort in Panthers Win

West won the last time they faced Granger and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lancers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marisia Hansen, who had three digs and three aces. What's more, Hansen racked up 19 assists, the most she's had since back in August. Leatula'I Pututau was another key player, getting ten digs and three assists.

West's record is now 10-4. As for Granger, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

West has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Kearns on the 11th. As for Granger, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Hillcrest on the 11th.
