Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Concordia). They never let the Minneapolis Lions get on the board and left with a 27-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Concordia's third in a row) raised their record to 12-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Minneapolis, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Concordia beat the Lions by a score of 20-2 later that day.
