Plaquemine came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Liberty Magnet Patriots 19-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-1 on Tuesday.

Plaquemine's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.6 runs over those games. As for Liberty Magnet, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plaquemine will head out to challenge Ascension Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
