Softball Recap: Emporia Spartans vs. Life Prep Fire
Emporia won against West on Friday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Life Prep Fire. With that victory, the Spartans brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.
Emporia got a massive performance out of Atlyn Heffron, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Adriel Aguilar, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
