Basketball Recap: Alaina Mungia Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

With a playoff win on the line, Rogers rose to the challenge on Monday. They came out on top against the Teague Lions by a score of 48-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Rogers' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alaina Mungia, who posted 14 points and six rebounds. Mungia has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Kyra Yates was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.

Rogers' record now sits at 16-12. As for Teague, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

Looking ahead, Rogers will challenge Keene on Thursday. Keene will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Rogers surely won't give up without a fight. Teague does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
