Basketball Game Preview: Lake Washington Kangaroos vs. North Creek Jaguars

The Lake Washington Kangaroos will head out to take on the North Creek Jaguars at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. North Creek took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lake Washington, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Lake Washington made off with a 51-50 win over Redmond. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Kangaroos.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, North Creek's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 74-73 to Sammamish. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (55), the Jaguars still had to take the loss.

Lake Washington is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for North Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Lake Washington was able to grind out a solid victory over North Creek in their previous matchup on January 7th, winning 71-61. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lake Washington since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
