Davidson Day won the last time they faced Greensboro Day School, and Lilly Marinelli did her part to make sure it happened again. The Patriots blew past the Bengals 3-0 on Wednesday with plenty of help from Marinelli, who had ten digs and four aces. She also posted two assists, marking her first of the season.

Davidson Day walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-16.

With the victory, Davidson Day broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-4. As for Greensboro Day School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
