Baseball Game Preview: Dover Green Wave vs. Manchester Central Little Green

The Dover Green Wave are taking a road trip to take on the Manchester Central Little Green at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Dover nor Manchester Central posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Dover is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Londonderry, who was ranked fourth at the time (Dover was ranked eighth). The Green Wave fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Green Wave have suffered since June 1, 2024.

Meanwhile, Manchester Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to Exeter.

Manchester Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Dover, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
