Briarwood Christian pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those seven contests. As for Hewitt-Trussville, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
