Basketball Recap: James Kenan Comes Up Short

James Kenan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs at home by a 67-53 margin. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 149th).

James Kenan now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing South Lenoir the next time they take the court. Wallace-Rose Hill will head out to face South Lenoir at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while James Kenan will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
