Basketball Recap: Atlanta Comes Up Short

Atlanta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 57-18 loss at the hands of the Heston Academy Patriots. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-31 last Tuesday.

Atlanta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Heston Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlanta has already played their next matchup (against Posen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Heston Academy will take on Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Heston Academy has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
