Baseball Recap: Snyder Takes a Loss

Snyder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Mangum Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 last Thursday.

Snyder saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ricky Williams, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Snyder's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Mangum, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Snyder will take on rival Navajo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mangum is set to challenge their familiar foe Cordell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
