After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Regis, St. Francis Prep was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Iona Prep Gaels with a sharp 5-1 victory. The result was nothing new for St. Francis Prep, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Iona Prep with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maurizio Bordone (2), Evan Terry, Michael Sullivan, and Julian Dos santos.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 12-4. As for Iona Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. St. Francis Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Anthony's at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
