Softball Recap: Broadmoor Comes Up Short

Broadmoor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers, falling 17-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-6 back in February.

Broadmoor's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Woodlawn-B.R., they pushed their record up to 7-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Broadmoor will challenge West Feliciana at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodlawn-B.R., they will host University Lab at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. University Lab has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.39 runs per game on average), something Woodlawn-B.R. will no doubt try to take advantage of.
