Recap: Harleton Wildcats vs. Big Sandy Wildcats
The Harleton Wildcats came into Tuesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Big Sandy on Tuesday and snuck past 40-37. The win was just what Harleton needed coming off of a 50-22 defeat in their prior match.
Big Sandy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Shemaiah Johnson, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. Johnson is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Alaysia Estes, who scored 11 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Harleton's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Big Sandy, they dropped their record down to 6-28 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Harleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Big Sandy also has no future games currently scheduled.
