Volleyball Recap: Runge Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Annapolis Christian Academy, Runge was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Pettus Eagles by a score of 2-0. For the Yellowjackets, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Runge now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pettus, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Runge will face off against Nixon-Smiley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pettus, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Karnes City on the 22nd.
