Basketball Game Preview: Oyster River Bobcats vs. Bow Falcons

Oyster River hasn't had much luck against Bow recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Oyster River Bobcats will welcome the Bow Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Oyster River knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Bow likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Oyster River against Bishop Brady as the team secured a 68-34 win. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Bow sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-48 victory over Milford on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won six in a row.

Oyster River's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. As for Bow, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
