Softball Recap: Stevenson's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Stevenson had lost four games at home, but after bumping their record up to 17-8-1 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the West Bloomfield Lakers as they made off with a 16-1 victory. Considering the Spartans have won 13 games by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

As for West Bloomfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly 15 runs.

For West Bloomfield's part, MORGAN CHRISTIAN made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run.

Stevenson will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lakers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
