After flying high against Steamboat Springs last Wednesday, Basalt came back down to earth. The Basalt Longhorns lost 14-5 to the University Bulldogs on Friday. Basalt has not had much luck with University recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Sebastian Oliver made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and a double. Kody Barton was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
