Carter won the last time they faced Pigeon Forge and things went their way on Thursday too. The Green Hornets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tigers.

Carter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 27-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Carter's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Pigeon Forge, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Carter has already played their next match (against Gatlinburg-Pittman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pigeon Forge, they will square off against Cosby at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
