Softball Recap: East Knox Takes a Loss

East Knox was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Northmor Golden Knights, falling 19-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-5 last Monday.

East Knox's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Northmor, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Looking ahead, East Knox will take on Centerburg at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Northmor, they will head out on the road to square off against Mt. Gilead at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17 runs per game on average), something the Golden Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
