Football Game Preview: Roanoke Catholic vs. North Cross

Roanoke Catholic have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on North Cross at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. North Cross will need to watch out since Roanoke Catholic have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.

Roanoke Catholic simply couldn't be stopped two weeks ago, as they easily beat Fuqua 52-8. The Roanoke Catholic offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Meanwhile, North Cross put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They put a hurting on Atlantic Shores Christian to the tune of 44-0. The victory was familiar territory for North Cross, who now have five in a row.

Their wins bumped North Cross to 5-2 and Roanoke Catholic to 6-0. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
