Volleyball Recap: James Irwin Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when James Irwin took on Lyons on Saturday. The Jaguars came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The Jaguars' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Lyons found their leader in sophomore Gwen Gadbaw, who had eight digs and two aces.

James Irwin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Lyons, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

Coming up, James Irwin will take on Eagle Ridge Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lyons does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
