West Genesee had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Auburn Maroons. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

West Genesee's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Auburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
