Basketball Game Preview: Lowry Buckaroos vs. Churchill County Greenwave

The Lowry Buckaroos will head out on the road to face off against the Churchill County Greenwave at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Lowry came up short against Spring Creek and fell 65-53. The Buckaroos have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Churchill County played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Spring Creek, falling 62-32. The contest marked the Greenwave's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lowry will have to keep a close watch on Calin Anderson and Barry Mitchell, a pair of players who had a big impact on Churchill County's prior game. Anderson posted nine points and four blocks, while Mitchell put up six points and six rebounds.

Lowry's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Churchill County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season.
