Football Recap: Weston Ranch Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Weston Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 26-0 to the Bear Creek Bruins. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 734th, while the Bruins are ranked 187th).

Weston Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Bear Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Weston Ranch is set to face off against their familiar foe McNair at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bear Creek will challenge rival Tokay at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bruins 11.7, the Tigers 13.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
