Volleyball Recap: Red Rock Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Red Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Desert Heights Prep Yote. While the Scorpions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Yote 25-0 in the first set.

Red Rock started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 0-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-8.

Desert Heights Prep found their leader in sophomore Sydney Siffert, who had five digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Smith, who had four digs and four aces.

Red Rock's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Desert Heights Prep, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Rock will welcome Scottsdale Preparatory Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Desert Heights Prep, they will host Anthem Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
